The Weeknd’s “Starboy” video featured platinum records, a neon crucifix, a panther, and exotic cars, but its moody setting was perhaps most intriguing: the Caverhill house in Beverly Hills. Designed by Zoltan Pali—architect of L.A.’s Getty Villa and Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts—and completed in 2009, the house has spectacular views of the city and canyons from its glass-walled perch, but it also offers privacy from the street with a colonnade of Neutra-esque light-diffusing “fins.”
The 4,600 square foot house features four bedrooms and six bathrooms on three levels and includes 1,000 square feet of shaded indoor-outdoor space, with an infinity pool on the ground level. In addition to The Weeknd’s video, the house has been featured in commercials for Samsung, Microsoft, Range Rover, and Mercedes-Benz. It is listed by Aaron Kirman, Verna Helbling and Tim Perry for $6.3 million.
