Lee Rocker, a double bassist for the rockabilly band Stray Cats, and his wife, well-known women’s ready-to-wear fashion designer Deborah Drucker, have put their panoramic, ocean-view Laguna Beach home on the market for $10.5 million.
Drucker described the home on an Instagram post, saying it’s “a magical place filled with good fortune and positive energy.” She added, “We are not in a hurry and can always change our minds. I am not leaving unless I get what I want for it and find another [home] I want to live in.”
Built in 2001, the property sits in Emerald Bay, a private beach that is only open to residents of the guard-gated community.
The 6,794-square-foot home sits on a 8,700-square-foot lot and features a state-of-the-art kitchen with two Dynasty ovens, six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, an ornate library with a hand-painted ceiling, a home theater and soundproof recording studios.
The Stray Cats have had numerous hit singles in the UK, Australia, Canada and the U.S. and have gone gold and platinum more than 10 times. In his solo career, Rocker has performed with Carl Perkins, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, Willie Nelson, Keith Richards and John Fogerty.
Aaron Kirman of John Aaroe Group is the solo agent handling this property.
